The Wright City Fire Protection District is committed to fiscal responsibility.

Large capital improvements, like those proposed in Proposition F, are better funded through temporary tax levies (bonds) rather than permanent tax increases.

This approach ensures that once the buildings and equipment are paid for, community members won't continue to face higher taxes.

Funding capital purchases from the general fund can strain the District’s operational and limited reserve funds, increasing the likelihood of needing to ask residents for additional tax levies in the future.
By supporting Proposition F, the community can ensure necessary upgrades without the risk of ongoing tax hikes.
