Once the new firehouse is constructed, we have two viable options for the old facility. One option is to sell the old firehouse, which could provide additional funding that could be reinvested in our fire services or help pay off the bonds sooner..

Alternatively, we could repurpose the old firehouse into a storage and training facility. This would allow us to maintain a dedicated space for equipment and resources while also providing a venue for ongoing training for our firefighters.

Both options aim to maximize the value of the old building while ensuring that we continue to support the operational needs of our fire department.

 

The decision will ultimately be guided by what best serves our community and enhances our fire service capabilities.
