A bond issue is a method for the Wright City Fire Protection District to borrow funds for significant equipment purchases, necessary facility improvements, and the construction of new facilities, similar to how a homeowner takes out a mortgage or a home improvement loan. These funds must be repaid over a specified period.

In this election, the fire district needs approval from at least 57% of its residents to borrow this money.
