The need for updated fire trucks is crucial for our district.
Our current fleet includes three front-line pumpers (model years 2001, 2009, and 2018), three front-line tankers (model years 1997, 2006, and 2023), two front-line brush fire trucks (model years 2008 and 2022), and one front-line ladder truck (model year 1987).
As our community has grown, the volume of emergency calls has risen significantly, putting increased demands on these vehicles. Each truck is logging more miles and responding to more emergencies than ever before.

While we take pride in the ongoing regular maintenance of our fleet, modernizing it is essential to ensure that our community is protected by reliable and effective apparatus. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends replacing front-line trucks every 10 years and reserve trucks every 20 years.

When Proposition F is approved, we can secure funding for new trucks, which typically take over two years to order, build, and put into service. This proactive investment is vital for maintaining the safety and readiness of our fire service, allowing us to continue protecting our community effectively.
Your support for Proposition F is essential in making this modernization a reality.
